Privacy policy
This policy explains what Gloam collects when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it. Gloam is built to need as little about you as possible.
What we collect
- Your public wallet address. When you connect a Solana wallet, we receive its public address. It identifies your plot, your structures and your line in the register. Wallet addresses are public on the Solana network.
- Activity in the jar. The plot you take, what you build, your watches, your keeper and your Ember balance. A shortened form of your address and this activity appear in the jar and the register for everyone to see.
- Sign-in messages. To prove you control a wallet, you sign a short text message. We check the signature and discard the one-time code inside it. Signing never sends a transaction or gives us access to your funds.
- Technical data. Our servers see your IP address and basic request details. We use them to limit abuse and keep the service running. Hosting logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.
We never ask for and never receive your seed phrase, private key or any password.
What is stored in your browser
Gloam saves a sign-in token and the name of the wallet you last used in your browser's local storage, so you stay signed in. If the site runs without a server, your plot is kept in local storage too. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third parties
- Wallet providers such as Phantom, Solflare and Backpack handle the connection and signing under their own privacy policies.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
- Hosting and database providers store Gloam data on our behalf and only process it to run the service.
- Links to Pump.fun, DexScreener, X or Telegram take you to services we do not control.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Records are kept while the jar runs, because the island and the register depend on them. Expired sign-in codes are deleted automatically within minutes.
Your choices
You can disconnect your wallet at any time from the wallet button. You can clear local storage in your browser settings. You can ask us to delete your records, which removes your plot, structures, Ember and log entries. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or correct your data, or to complain to a data protection authority.
Age
Gloam is meant for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For questions or deletion requests, contact the Gloam team through the official channels listed in drawer No. VI, the office.
